Class AI Policy
At Elelands, we use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support learners in practicing language, developing critical thinking, and fostering creativity. AI helps personalize learning paths, provides instant feedback, and expands access to knowledge.
1. Citing is required when copying AI content
2. Avoid using AI for dishonest practice in academic
3. AI should be used for assistance, not as a complete replacement for one's own thought process
Ethical AI Usage Guidelines:
For Teachers:
Teachers can use AI for creating lesson concept, vocabulary list and individual activities . We encourage teachers to check the information before presenting it to the class. Make sure access to certain websites that following rules and age guildlines.
For Students:
With teachers' support, students can use AI to brainstorm ideas, practice speaking or writing. Let the teachers know when they use it for any projects or assignments. We encourage students to explore AI as a way to enhance critical thinking, creativity, and active learning — in alignment with the spirit of the ISTE Standards.
Emotion Card Match & Story Time
( OER Example )
For: Kids (6–12) & Parents
Time: 30 minutes
Focus: Emotional vocabulary + storytelling in English
Follow the links above to find activities from Emotion Card Match on a specific topic.
Learning Goal:

Learn emotion words in English

Practice speaking and storytelling

Strengthen family connection
Emotion Card Match (15 min)
Shuffle and place emotion cards face down.
Take turns flipping two cards. If they match, say the emotion in English and act it out.
Example: “Excited!” → Jump and smile.
Parents can help kids pronounce and understand each word.
2. Draw Your Feeling (10 min)
Each person picks one emotion card.
Draw a picture showing a moment when they felt that emotion.
Share using English sentence starters:
“I feel ___ when…”
“He/She felt ___ because…”
3. Story Time Together (15 min)
Choose 2–3 emotion cards and create a short story together.

Use characters, settings, and feelings from the cards.

Example: “One day, a shy boy felt nervous about joining a new class. But he met a kind friend and felt happy!”
4. Bonus Challenge

Record your story as a video or audio clip.

Remember to choose your favorite stories to get more context and storytelling time.
